SOLDPainting this wolf was comfortable for me because I have painted many dog portraits over the years. The difference between painting a wolf rather than a dog is the intense eye color and the majesty that a wolf exudes. I have been able to spend some time around wolves and that has given me the ability to see more than just what a photograph can capture.
